There are three ways a round ends. Tongits — you discard your last card with zero cards remaining; instant win and you collect from both opponents. Draw — the center pile runs out; the player with the lowest total hand value wins. Fight (Sagot) — any player can challenge at any time; if you have no face-down cards in hand, you can call Fight. The player with the lowest hand value at that moment wins.

Number cards (2–10) are worth their face value in points. Face cards (Jack, Queen, King) are worth 10 points each. Aces are worth 1 point. The goal is to get your unmelded hand value as low as possible. In a Draw or Fight outcome, the losing players pay the winner based on the difference in hand values, multiplied by the agreed stake per point.

When you discard a card, opponents may play it on top of one of their own laid melds using Sapaw. This is not optional drawing — the card must fit an existing meld of theirs.
